I'm sure you've heard it all before ...the Bible is chock full of stories of heroic people who have loved and served God in the past; but growing up in a "what's in it for me" society, makes it mighty difficult to put all that learning into practice. Service is not only the best cure for "me-it is," but is also the natural response to many lessons learned at church; it allows us to go beyond simply hearing, talking about or even planning ways to love and obey God.
